What is the End of Year Showcase?

Our End of Year Showcase is your chance to step into the spotlight, build confidence, and share what you’ve learned! It is a 15-week Showcase Course where you will learn choreography, practice with a crew, and perform live on stage. This year’s theme is Welcome to the Carnival!

Can I attend classes casually without performing?

Unfortunately, no. Casual classes will not be running during this period. Our courses are strictly dedicated to preparing choreography for the end of year performance. However, keep your eyes peeled for any pop-up classes after the Showcase concludes.

Can I join a showcase course once it has already started?

The absolute cut-off date for showcase enrollments is at the end of Week 3 on Friday 15 August. (Note: Please ensure your initial deposit is finalized by September 6).

What if I miss a week of class?

While we don’t offer make-up classes for our showcase courses, we highly encourage you to do your best to attend weekly. If you happen to miss a session, don’t worry—your teacher and awesome classmates will be there to help you catch up on the choreography.

When do classes and key events take place?

Mark your calendars with these key dates for the season:

• Taster Week (20 Jul – 23 Jul): Come try out casual taster classes for our showcase courses.
• Showcase Courses (27 Jul – 3 Nov): Official 15-week choreography and training block.
• Dress Rehearsal (Sun 1 Nov): A half-day, full run-through on stage wearing your costumes.
• 2026 Showcase (Sat 7 Nov): Time to hit the stage and bring the Carnival to life!

When do tickets go on sale to public?

Tickets generally go on sale in October.

How much do the Showcase Courses cost?

We offer a multi-course discount structure. The more courses you take, the cheaper each individual course becomes. View showcase pricing here.

What does my levy fee include?

Every showcase package includes:

• Your weekly classes (1x, 2x, 3x, or 4+ times a week depending on your course plan).
• Participation in the Dress Rehearsal and Tech Rehearsal.
• An exclusive Showcase concert tee.
• A digital download link of the final performance to share with family and friends.
• $30 costume deposit

How do costume payments work?

Costumes are curated specifically to match the vibe of your dance style and our theme. A $30 costume deposit (per course) is included in your course fees. Because outfits vary widely between styles, there will be a varied additional cost for costumes not included in your base course fee. We always aim to keep costumes under $120. 

You will be prompted from week 5 about remaining payments (minus deposit. Full payments are required prior to collecting your costumes. 

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. We understand that budgeting for showcase season is important. Payment plans will be available to pay off the remaining amount minus the $250 deposit. However, the cut-off date for deposits is 6 September to secure your spot and lock in your enrollment. Deposits are non-refundable after week 5.

How do I use existing Mindbody account credit to pay for courses?

What happens on the day of the dance concert?

Concert day is an absolute buzz! You’ll arrive at the venue, head to the dressing rooms, and get ready to hit the stage with your crew. It is an incredibly supportive environment designed to make you feel like a star.

Will we get to practice on the stage beforehand?

Absolutely!

Do I need to arrive early?

Yes, you will need to arrive during the day to get settled, warm up, and prepare with your team. We hold dedicated stage rehearsals for each class. These rehearsals are specifically designed to help you:

• Get comfortable with the size and feel of the stage.
• Learn exactly where to enter and exit for your routines.
• Understand the stage spacing and transitions so you feel 100% confident when the curtains open!

Don’t stress about the specifics just yet, a complete, detailed schedule for concert day will be released to everyone with plenty of notice so you can plan your day perfectly.
